Rev. Dr. Edem Dzunu

Our Minister

Rev. Dr. Edem Dzunu arrived from the U.S. in October 2020 to serve as minister at Carrickfergus Methodist Church. He is passionate about community and enjoys spending time with family and friends in good conversation over a simple meal. Edem has also previously served as a professor, teaching in China, USA, Ghana, England and Germany. He and his wife Pamela are co-founders of Baobab People, a U.S.-based non-profit organization that works to connect cultures through dialogue and learning. He is thankful to be in Northern Ireland with his wife and young son, Etornam. In this season of his life, Edem is guided and encouraged by Paul’s words in Romans 8:38-39, because nothing “in all creation will be able to separate us from the love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
