Deborah Green

Youth Coordinator

Deborah’s role is a combination of both youth work and leadership. It involves discussing programs and identifying resources needed within the church to develop youth programmes. She also supports our youth leaders who engage with young people to develop, support and encourage them in their relationship with God.

Deborah has been in this role for the last two years and has been a member of Carrickfergus Methodist over the last 36 years. She is also the current captain of our Girl’s Brigade company, a role she has held for at least 7 years. She has been an officer for a total of 25 years and a youth leader in our youth club.

Deborah and Darren have been married for nearly 25 years. They have two daughters, Emily 21 and Abby 16.

Deborah takes strength and encouragement from Philippians 4:13; “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
